the live only performance can take place everywhere, 
     with or without an audience

               it can have the shape of a theatrical event 
                    with a lot of people present

     it can happen just around the corner, 
          with or without one's knowledge

               one can hear rumours about it, 
                    some people can tell stories about it

 but it can only be experienced live

 it cannot be seen or heard from recordings or pictures


     the traces it makes are the real imaginative events 
          in the minds and the bodies of the people 
                                   present at that moment 
               and their passing on of their experience

  the live only performance

          a counterculture
               worth a fight, or two

       there    will be people, also colleagues, 
                    who attack the live only performance 
               out of habit, mindlessly, on purpose, 
                    with all kinds of arguments and excuses


  well,     whenever a performance meant to be live only, 
                is anyhow covered by some kind of recording, 

          it's always possible to do another one, 
               different, at another moment 
                          which will be a real live only
